Apply to study at Aviapolis upper secondary school

You can apply for Aviapolis upper secondary school in the joint application in February 2026

Aviapolis upper secondary school participates in the joint application that takes place from February 17, 2026 to March 17, 2026. In the first year of application, 90 students will be admitted to the new upper secondary school. Thirty places are designated to English-language upper secondary education. After the first year, the number of study places will increase to about 200 students each year.

In August 2026, new students at Aviapolis upper secondary school will begin their first fall semester on temporary premises, at Varia Aviapolis on Aerolankaari 5. Varia Aviapolis is located about two kilometers from the future upper secondary school. In the 2027 spring semester, the new upper secondary school building will be completed, and teaching will be transferred to the new premises of the upper secondary school on Karhumaenportti 3.

Information about joint search

You can apply for Aviapolis upper secondary school already in the joint application in 2026. You can apply for Aviapolis upper secondary school either for the general line of the upper secondary school or for the English-language line.

• Apply for the upper secondary school in the  joint application, which is held once a year in February and March.
• You can participate in the joint application if you have completed comprehensive school and do not yet have a matriculation examination or a vocational qualification.
• Applicants for the general line of the upper secondary school are based on the average grade of subjects in the comprehensive school graduation certificate.
• You can only apply for the English-language line if your Finnish or Swedish language skills are not sufficient for a Finnish-language or Swedish-language upper secondary school. You can read more detailed information on the English-language upper secondary education’s website.

Fill out the application form electronically during the application period online at: Studyinfo.fi. Enter on the application form seven (7) application places that are most interesting to you in the order of priority. In the joint application, you can apply for a study place at an upper secondary school, vocational institution, the new TUVA education (preparatory education for programs leading to an upper secondary qualification), and TELMA training (preparatory training for work and independent life), as well as study programs meant for compulsory education at an adult education college. We recommend that you carefully consider the order of the application places, since that affects the final student choices.
