Studies

Aviapolis upper secondary school is a general upper secondary school that invests in high-quality instruction. The new facilities enable versatile and high-quality instruction and studying in both general studies, as well as in skills and arts. In addition to the general upper secondary school, the upper secondary school also offers upper secondary education in the English language. A maximum of 30 students are annually admitted to English-language education. The English-language line is intended for those whose language skills are not sufficient for upper secondary education in Finnish or Swedish. You can read more detailed information on the English-language upper secondary education’s website.

Students starting their studies in fall 2026 will initially study at the nearby temporary premises in Varia Aviapolis, from where they will move to the premises of the new upper secondary school during spring 2027.

The corridors include hangout groups, exhibition and magazine points, as well as facilities for active break activities. Furthermore, the students and teachers can also book various small-group spaces and quiet workspaces.

When planning the premises of Aviapolis upper secondary school, a lot of attention was paid to energy efficiency and renewable energy. Solar panels will be installed on the roof, geothermal energy will be used in the building in addition to district heating, and a green roof will be installed on the roof of the gym to help with thermoregulation.
