Accepting a study place and starting the academic year

Please accept your study place as soon as possible in the Studyinfo service (Opintopolku), and no later than June 25, 2026:

• If you have provided your email address in the joint application process, the Finnish National Agency for Education will send you an electronic results letter during 11 June. Automatic reception messages are sent to those accepted 2 times a day, at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.  Please also remember to press the "Present (whole academic year)" button!  
• If you did not provide an email address in the joint application process, you can accept the upper secondary school place electronically by logging in to Studyinfo with your online banking credentials or mobile certificate. Please also remember to press the "Present (whole academic year)" button!  
• Please remember that you must accept your study place by 25.6.2026 at the latest, otherwise you may lose your study place. 
• Please also notify the upper secondary school immediately if you do not intend to accept the study place offered to you. In this case, the study place becomes available to the person on the waiting list. 
• Acceptance from the waiting list ends on 14.8.2026. 

Note! It is not possible to accept a place in upper secondary school at the school.
